Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information skillsaggregator (operated by Arteversio LLC) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as we can to run the Service.

1. Information we collect. Account: your email address, handled by our authentication provider (Clerk), so you can sign in with a one-time code.
Billing:your subscription status and a reference to your customer record. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we never receive or store your full card number.
Usage & device: basic analytics (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device/browser type) via Vercel Analytics and, for advertising measurement, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API.
Skill Checker content: when you scan a skill, the analysis runs entirely in your browser. Pasted or uploaded content is not uploaded to our servers.

2. How we use it. To provide and secure the Service, process your membership, respond to support requests, understand and improve usage, and measure the performance of our advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers we share with. We share limited data with providers who process it on our behalf: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting & analytics), Supabase (catalog database), and Meta (advertising measurement). Each processes data under its own terms and only as needed to provide its service.

4. Cookies & advertising. We use essential cookies for sign-in and, if you visit from an ad, the Meta Pixel to measure conversions. The Meta Pixel and Conversions API may share a hashed identifier (such as a hashed email) with Meta to match your visit to an ad. You can control ad personalization in your Meta settings and manage cookies in your browser.

5. Data retention. We keep account and billing records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained per our providers’ standard periods.

6. Your choices & rights. You can access or update your email in Settings, cancel your membership at any time, and request deletion of your account by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing — contact us to exercise them.

7. Security. We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and limit what we collect.

8. Children. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. International users. We operate the Service from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

10. Changes. We may update this Policy; we’ll change the date above and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
